Poorly Known 0.1: Embasaurus minax

To begin with, let's just say I love reconstructing poorly known/dubious dinosaurs as seen in my gallery before, which has featured the likes of Kakuru kujani, Calamosaurus foxi, etc. This is what inspired my new series of dinosaur drawings, Poorly Known, which features dubious and non-famous dinosaurs, starting with Theropoda.

To kick off the series we have Embasaurus minax, known from 140-million year old Kazakhstan, known from two fragmentary vertebrae. Research suggests this might have been a tyrannosauroid. Proceratosaurids, the earliest tyrannosauroids, lived from 165-120mya, scattered in England, Russia, and China. Due to this, I pictured Embasaurus as a proceratosaurid, with a crest similar to the others, approx. 25ft long, slightly smaller than Gorgosaurus, Sinotyrannus, and many other tyrannosaurs.
