Description
"Mongolian Termite Dwellings" Redo 2013
A young Tarchia (Tarchia gigantea) approaches a termite mound, where a male-female pair of Indicators (Ceratonykus oculatus) are already feasting. The tarchia feasts on termites and ants for a good majority of its young life, filling a niche that modern armadillos, anteaters, pangolins, aardvarks, numbats and echidnas assume. Another animal of the Barun Goyot that eats the insects as well is the Petite (Hollanda luceria), which also eats other small animals. In the background a Gobi Domehead (Tylocephale gilmorei) and a herd of Leaping Birboks (Avimimus sp.) traverse across the desert.
Inspired by a post from the blog Antediluvian Salad.

Nice work and is that a feather-like on Ankylosaurid's front limb?
